Spring is here and summer is just around the corner. Time to get rid of the hats, hoods and scarves that we’ve been hiding under. Spring cleaning is in order and this involves more than house cleaning. Preparation for the warmer days ahead can involve waxing shaving, plucking, tanning and all other tasks that may have been ignored over the winter season. With all the work to do it’s always nice to have a DIY mentality. I have created a tutorial on how to thread your eyebrows. Eyebrow threading is a growing sensation. Many find it to be more efficient than waxing or plucking and it last longer. This tutorial shows you how to thread your eyebrows step by step. People spend $10-$15 dollars twice sometimes three times a month to get their eyebrows done. After watching my tutorial you will be able to do your own eyebrows and save money for your spring/summer vacation. 😉

You will need:
- basic sewing thread
- a mirror
Tips:
- If this is your first time, it helps to place clear tape over the part of the eyebrow you don’t want to be threaded to prevent any mistakes.
- Make two knots to make the loop secure
- Take your time. Practice makes perfect.
Thanks for the tutorial. I’ve been dying to try threading, but I’m scared to do my eyebrows. I’m going to try my legs first, then one day my eyebrows.
aww don’t be scared. It won’t hurt that much, especially if you’re in control. If your worried about the pain get them waxed that should lessen the pain.
This is an awesome post! I would have never thought of threading my own eyebrows.
My eyes are streaming when I get someone else to do it, I would be far too scared, great tutorial though x
Great tutorial!!
xx
amelia:)
Thanks! 😉
Very cool! I’ve been reading a lot about this…but am too scared to try! I’ve had lots of *ahem* tragedies when I try to do my brows myself! lol 😛 But great tutorial! 🙂
Threading is by far the best way to go for any hair removal from the face- it hurts like a mother but I get my eyebrows done at a beauty salon for £2.50 and they make my eyebrows look naturally shaped!
It could be a bit time consuming to do your legs though jenkakio!
Great blog!
Wow this something totaly new to me. I’ve never heard of this before. Like they say you learn something new everyday. I guess you can called me old fashion because I’m thinking people were still using tweezers to do that. This was an awesome tutorial thank you for sharing this with us.
Dang excuse my typo but I meant totally lol.
No prob chica I’m so glad you liked it! 😉
I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for a while now. It hurts!! But I try to be a big girl about it. I get it done twice a month and pay $8 each visit with excellent results 🙂
But I will try it myself one day and follow your tutorial!
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
